21.07.2015 FASEB Conference: Origins and Benefits of Biologically Active Components in Human Milk
Origins and Benefits of Biologically Active Components in Human Milk
The main focus of this FASEB Science Research Conference is to delineate the state-of-the-science related to origins and benefits of biologically-active components in human milk. Topics programmed as major conference symposia include oligosaccharide synthesis, metabolism, analysis, and roles in the body; the human milk microbiome and computational approaches needed to understand its complexity, effectors, and functions; and the analysis and role of host cells in human milk. The relationship between milk constituents and food allergies will also be discussed, as will the emerging area of milk genomics.
Jennewein Biotechnologie as a pioneer in the production of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) is sponsoring this conference and will present several posters as well as is taking an active part in the scientific discussion.
The conference is taking place in Big Sky (Montana, USA) from July 19th to 24th 2015.
